CHERRY CREEK STATE PARK: PART TWO

CHERRY CREEK STATE PARK: PART TWO

Another shot from Cherry Creek State Park, this time for certain by Dorcas Tillman (we think that last one was too—very similar shots). A cattail, which reminds one of us of the time our dad hired us boys to pull the cattails out of the pond in the backyard. Ten cents a pop, or so he said up front. Turns out there was a proper load of cattails in the pond and the bill was way heavier than he expected. We recall that he never paid in full, offered up just a fraction of what was due (though the end of the story may depend on whom you ask). Still, what did he have against cattails anyway? We think they, and this shot, are wicked cool.
