ROADRUNNER SHOEFITI: DENVER, 7TH AND CLARKSON
We'd noticed the recent addition of this pair of flaming orange sneaker shoefiti to the wire above one of our bike routes through town and we felt the gauntlet had been thrown down (forgive the sartorially incorrect metaphor). So today we stepped up. If it's a fall themed event—and it ought to be since today was perhaps the sweetest early fall day in the history of early fall—we think we're both dressed appropriately. Our opponent chose the flashy full orange of deep autumn; we chose the more poetic green and yellow, to symbolize the transition we're in. Before we made the chuck we took a minute to size up the sneakers' moves solo; they are fine and graceful. But our Roadrunner shoefiti bring smart steps too. In any case, the dance-off is now on and may the best pair win.
